Brenda's yoga journey began in 2007 as part of her fitness routine but she recognized quickly that an embodied yoga was so much more than a physical discipline. Brenda believes that asana, breath-work and meditation free the mind and body to listen, heal and experience communion with our Creator. It is her heart to bear witness to, and encourage her students to find freedom and expression out of their innate desire for alignment and connection---experiencing a fully embodied practice, heart, soul, mind and body. Brenda has also completed Masters level training with Holy Yoga (500 hr), Holy Yoga Touch Training and Urban Zen Integrative Therapy Training Program. She also offers private healing touch Reiki sessions by appointment. Brenda lives in the Village of Mariemont with her husband, Brad, and is the mother of 3 daughters.
Leslie began integrating yoga into her workouts after being diagnosed with asthma in 2005. Although, she soon became a regular practitioner as well as an enthusiastic proponent of the physical, mental and emotional benefits of yoga, she never thought to teach it.
So it was to her great surprise, that after participating in just one class at Worthy Yoga, she felt called to pursue Holy Yoga training. Leslie completed her 225 HY training in May, 2015. She feels incredibly blessed to be on this journey and to be part of the Worthy family.
Leslie and her husband, Mark live in Mariemont and are the parents of two daughters and a son.
Todd took his first yoga class at the suggestion of a spiritual director and was amazed at how quickly the experience became a kind of “bodily prayer.” He began practicing regularly in 2014, after noticing how yoga consistently stilled his heart and mind, paving the way for meditation and prayer. Wanting to learn more, he completed his RYT200 training in 2015 with Living Waters and Yahweh Yoga with an additional 95 hr training with Holy Yoga. “I am just a normal guy who has found in Christian yoga a meaningful way to connect body mind and spirit. I love helping others find that same connection, inviting and encouraging them on their unique journey toward God and themselves.”
In addition to teaching Yoga, he is active in Christian ministry as an instructor and Director of Sustainable Faith’s School of Spiritual Direction, and through his own spiritual direction practice. He and his wife Cynthia have been married since 1985, have three children and three grandchildren.
I started practicing Yoga in 2007 in Austin, Tx. My passion for Yoga grew even more when I moved to Cincinnati in 2013. I acquired my 200 hour RYT, and Barre Yoga certification training at Yoga Alive Dec. 2013 and a 95 hour certification from Holy Yoga Nov. 2014. I teach Hot Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Barre, and Restorative Yoga. My students are of all ages including High School Football, and Basketball players.
Through teaching Yoga I am inspired to live simply and compassionately, bringing the Love of God and the Light of Jesus Christ to the Yoga Studio. My goal in teaching yoga is for my students to learn how to live in harmony with their own lives by uniting their Mind, Body, and Spirits with the Holy Trinity. I desire to teach my students how simple it is to affect others by how you live in harmony with ones own self. As you learn and experience, you will grow and inspire those around you to come along on the journey.

Tami began her yoga journey in 2003. She was running marathons and was looking for a way to recover and stretch. Her first teacher was Lillias Folan. After practicing with Lillias she discovered the many benefits of yoga for overall health. She completed her teacher training in 2014. She loves using props to improve alignment and deepen the pose. Tami is a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and enjoys incorporating her yoga practice in caring for her patients. Tami has a keen understanding of how Yoga can help people with anxiety, breathing issues, constipation, and pain. She especially enjoys leading yoga at area senior centers. In her spare time she rescues and fosters dogs.

Rachel began practicing yoga on and off starting in 2007. She discovered that she loved the physical practice and the calming mental benefits, but longed for the full integration of a Christ honoring spiritual practice. Rachel is so thankful for the community and environment that Worthy Yoga! The worshipful practice encourages growth in a personal connection to Jesus which stimulates an outward posture of love! By practicing Holy Yoga, Rachel feels that she is growing in what it means to worship, love and serve Jesus with all of her heart, soul, mind and strength! She hopes to share that with others!!
Rachel lives in Reading, Ohio with her wonderful husband James. Rachel and James are members of New City Presbyterian Church in Norwood, Ohio. Rachel works as a school based occupational therapy assistant and loves to practice yoga with the students she has the honor to work with!
Lisa began practicing yoga on a regular basis in February of 2014. She was looking for something to reduce the daily stress of a stay at home wife and mother to active 3 teens. What she found was so much more! The moment she walked into a studio for the first time she felt like a missing piece to her life has been found. Lisa received her 200 RYT at Body Alive this passed December. Throughout her teacher training she longed for the "Mind, Body and Spirit" connection but never quite achieved it. That is until she took her first class at Worthy Yoga. " I will never forget the words I spoke to my husband as I left that first class, "I get it now." I finally felt the presence of God and the peace of the Holy Spirit in my practice." It is Lisa's deepest hope to enrich the lives of others by sharing her faith and journey in this Christian yoga community.

Jamie began her yoga journey about 5 years ago when she was experiencing chronic back pain. Within 2 months of practicing yoga she saw such a difference and was hooked! She began to experience the spiritual piece of of yoga about 2 years ago during a rough time in her life and wanted to begin to share that with others. Jamie enrolled in yoga teacher training which she completed in July of 2016. Jamie feels so blessed to have been invited to be apart of this Worthy Yoga community and we are so very grateful for her the way she shares her sweet and gentle spirit and gifting as an instructor.
Amy began her yoga practice in 2003. While she loved the flexibility and strength that developed through her practice, she longed to be part of a yoga community that honored Christ. Her prayer was answered when a small blurb in a community newspaper lead her to the Worthy Yoga studio. At Worthy she found a welcoming community that abounds in love, grace and authenticity.
Amy is passionate about encouraging others on their lifelong journey of spiritual formation, the process by which God forms the very character of Jesus in His followers. She has experienced a deepening of her relationship with God through Christian meditation and enjoys sharing opportunities to practice this listening side of prayer with others.
It is extremely challenging to be silent and listen to God because the noisiness of today’s society persistently demands our attention. Amy meets weekly at Worthy Yoga with a group of people who are interested in:

Lauren began her yoga journey in 2007 with a busy mind and imbalanced flow. While she always enjoyed the mobility and strengthening benefit, she struggled to find inner peace as she worked through each pose. It wasn’t until 2016 that she discovered her love for yoga by adding meditation, mantra and prayer to her practice.
A former dancer and family member of Missionaries, Franciscan Friars and Priests, Lauren fell in love with Christ-centered yoga and its balance of beautiful, fluid movement and spirituality. She is so honored to join the Worthy Yoga team, in which she hopes to create peace for all, just as her last name signifies.
Lauren lives in Hyde Park where she runs her Creative Consulting business, Pax Consulting. In addition to Yoga, Lauren instructs Barre, Bootcamp, Pilates Reformer and Mini Trampoline classes, and coaches Integrative Nutrition and Personal Training.
Our instructors bring a breadth of knowledge and experience! We have both classically trained as well as Holy Yoga trained instructors!
